Base
Each base is individually hand-carved from solid mahogany wood by master-carvers using traditional woodworking tools. Thus, each base is a unique masterpiece and will have natural imperfections. Moisture content : 12 - 14% kiln dried. Each item is furniture-grade finished : sanded 7 times (to grit # 1,000 ) & stained, before a protective top coat is applied.
